Harbour view home is a children’s residential care in the Harwich area of Essex in the CO12 postcode area for up to two children aged 10 – 17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The house has recently undergone major refurbishment throughout.  There are four bedrooms on the first floor, including staff bedrooms.  There are two bathrooms (one full ‘family’ bathroom upstairs and a separate downstairs cloakroom) large kitchen, living room/ diner. To the rear of the property, we have a separate converted out-building which will be used as a gaming den, craft room or space for private meetings. We have a small garden at the rear of the property, which is full enclosed. There is parking available on the road outside the property, along with a driveway with space for two cars.

Harbour View Home is situated in a residential area, with many opportunities for young people. There are lots of recreational activities available in the local area; sporting, water sports and recreational opportunities including pools, skate parks and football pitches.

The area is rich with cultural diversity which offers young people the chance to engage with different cultures through community events, festivals, and local cuisine. The area also has art galleries and creative spaces, providing avenues for artistic expression and exploration.

Harbour View is well connected via public transport, making it easy for young people to travel around Essex and beyond (down to London and up to the north). The area is served by several bus routes that connect it to nearby areas.
